Air Cargo Innovation Lab | ACIL
Startup Village and Air Cargo Netherlands (ACN) run a three-year innovation program designed to turn industry challenges into opportunities for innovation.
The Air Cargo Innovation Lab (ACIL) brings together leading companies and cargo frontrunners with startups, talent, researchers and emerging technologies to explore and accelerate new solutions. Through focused innovation themes, the program creates space to explore new ideas, experiment, learn and develop practical solutions.
Current themes include Trusted Supply Chain Data, Autonomous Operations and Unlocking Knowledge and Building AI savviness — addressing both technological opportunities and the barriers to adoption.
ACIL demonstrates how a sector-specific innovation program can help an industry move from ideas to action while strengthening collaboration across the ecosystem.
In short, ACIL connects an industry’s challenges and ambitions with the technology, talent and networks needed to turn innovation opportunities into practical solutions.
Longterm partnership with Equinix
Startup Village has a long-standing relationship with Equinix, our neighbour and an important player in the data and AI infrastructure ecosystem in the Netherlands.
The partnership gives startups and the wider Startup Village ecosystem access to knowledge, expertise and cloud and digital infrastructure, helping them explore and scale new technologies in areas such as AI, data and quantum.
At the same time, Startup Village helps Equinix connect with the innovation ecosystem through high-end events and curated community gatherings. We bring together Equinix’s network with our own network of startups, researchers, investors and technology partners, creating new connections and opportunities around AI, Data and Quantum.
